Lineage

Devil Driver is Sundae Driver × Melonade, the cross that made Tiki Madman’s name and the parent line behind Dante’s Inferno.

• Sundae Driver (Cannarado Genetics) — itself a cross of Fruity Pebbles OG × Grape Pie, made famous through the Jungle Boys. It brings the creamy, berry-grape sweetness, the bushy multi-topped build and the heavy trichome coverage.
• Melonade (Dying Breed Seeds) — Watermelon Zkittlez × Lemon Tree. This is where the melon aromatics, the zesty citrus edge and the extra vertical reach come from.

That’s a dessert-line meets citrus-line pairing, and the offspring reads exactly like it: candy-shop fruit sitting on a creamy, hashy base. It’s also a genuine top-shelf cut in the hash world — the resin heads are large and wash-friendly, which is why extractors chase it.

Smell

Dominant terpene: limonene, backed by caryophyllene, myrcene and pinene.

• Ripe cantaloupe and honeydew up front — the loudest note by far
• Berry candy and a soft creamy vanilla undertone underneath
• A zesty lemon-citrus lift on the finish that keeps it from reading as purely sweet
• Pheno-dependent swing: some plants push sharp lemon-pine brightness, others lean into a dank, funky, kitchen-sink depth beneath the fruit

The nose is stronger than the flower’s colour suggests — it’s one of those jars you can smell across the room once it’s cured.

Ease of growing

Honestly rated moderate rather than beginner-proof, but it’s an undemanding, forgiving plant in the ways that matter — no diva feeding schedule, no wild stretch to manage.

The easy parts:

• Not nutrient-sensitive. It takes a balanced veg feed and a PK-leaning bloom without complaint; it isn’t one of those cuts that burns the moment you look at it.
• Trainable. Topping at the 4th–5th node during veg and spreading the laterals gives a fast, even canopy. It responds very well to LST, topping, lollipopping and SCROG.
• Manageable size. Medium height, bushy frame, only about 1.5–2× stretch after the flip — comfortable under a standard indoor ceiling.
• Quick finisher. Most phenos are done by day 60–63, so it doesn’t test your patience or your calendar.
• Generous yielder. Moderate-to-high indoors and out when the canopy is trained; dense colas stack properly on the lateral branches.
• Showy at the end. Olive-green to deep purple and raspberry hues, with long spear-shaped flowers and fiery orange pistils. Cooler night temps in late flower bring the purple out harder.
